Applesauce

This delicious applesauce can be stored for 5 days in refrigerator!

Applesauce

Ingredients:

2 kg of apples (Gala and Braeburn)

1/4 cup of lemon juice (squeezed from 2 lemons)

3 tablespoons of brown sugar (optional)

Directions to cook

  1. Peel and slice the apples.
  2. Put the apples into the pan, add lemon juice and 1.5 cup of water. Boil on a high heat until it simmers, then reduce the heat and boil until the apples are boiled soft for about 25 minutes. 
  3. Beat up thoroughly by hand or an electric mixer. You can also blender the mixture. Add sugar (optional).
  4. Cool it and store it in a hermetically closed container.
