Browny has never been so light and fragrant!



1 pack of butter (200 mg)

1 cup of flour

1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon of soda

1 cup of sugar

1 egg

1/2 cup of chopped walnuts

2 slices of apples (preferably sweet and solid apples)

Directions to cook

  1. Heat the oven up to 180 0C. Oil the baking tray with butter well. (You will need a baking tray for about 30 cm x 20 cm)
  2. Mix flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and soda in a medium sized bowl. Thoroughly mix butter, sugar and eggs with a mixer in a separate bowl. Peel the apples, remove the cores and chop the apples into little cubes. Add walnuts and apples to butter mixture and stir with hands well. Add the mixture of flour and mix well again. 
  3. Place the pastry into the baking tray and bake it for about 40 minutes until it turns golden. Put the pie onto the grate and cool for 30 minutes. Cut the pie into 12 slices.
